Objective Coordination: Work with your team to secure objectives and win team fights.

1. Vision Control Around Objectives:

  • Pre-Objective Setup: Before major objectives (like Dragon or Baron) are about to spawn, clear enemy vision and set up your own wards at least 30-45 seconds in advance. Use Control Wards in key spots like river bushes or near the objective itself.
  • Sweeping for Vision: Use your Oracle Lens to clear out enemy wards, denying vision and forcing them to check areas blind. This can lead to easier picks or force the enemy into bad positions.
  • Key Warding Locations: For Dragon, ward the tri-bush, river, and enemy jungle entrances. For Baron, ward mid lane, Baron pit, and the entrance to the top side jungle.

2. Communication and Pinging:

  • Ping Objectives Early: Constantly communicate and ping Dragon/Baron timers. Remind your team to play around the objective and stay in position.
  • Call for Assistance: If you spot the enemy jungler or a threat near an objective, ping your teammates to gather, especially if a fight is likely. This prevents them from being caught off-guard.
  • Objective Prioritization: If you're ahead, prioritize securing Dragons for the Dragon Soul. If behind, look for Baron steals or picks near major objectives to buy time.

3. Objective-Focused Playstyle:

  • Mid-Game Prioritization: Once the first turret falls, focus your movements around Dragon and Rift Herald. Try to coordinate with your jungler to gain control of the bot side river to contest Dragons.
  • Securing Baron and Dragon: At mid and late stages, stay grouped with your team. After winning fights or getting picks, immediately rotate to objectives like Baron or Elder Dragon. You want to capitalize on enemy deaths or lack of cooldowns.

4. Fighting Around Objectives:

  • Positioning for Engagement: Stand near the frontline if you are a tanky engage support (Leona, Nautilus) to initiate at the right moment. If you’re a utility support (Soraka, Lulu), stay at the back to protect carries.
  • Peel During Fights: Ensure your primary carries (ADC, mid-laner) have space to deal damage by using peel abilities like shields, stuns, or slows.
  • Time Abilities Around Key Spells: Track important enemy ultimates (e.g., Malphite’s Unstoppable Force, Miss Fortune’s Bullet Time) and avoid engaging until they’re on cooldown. Once their threats are down, call for a more aggressive fight or objective take.

5. Post-Fight Objectives:

  • Turn Wins Into Objectives: After winning a fight, immediately ping Baron/Dragon or towers. Rotate quickly with your team to secure the next objective, capitalizing on the enemy’s death timers or low cooldowns.
  • Reset Timing: After securing an objective, reset as a team to spend gold, refill items, and return to the map. Staying on the map too long after securing an objective can leave you vulnerable to counterattacks.

6. Splitting and Pressure:

  • Split Push Coordination: If your team has a split pusher (like Fiora or Camille), coordinate by keeping vision and pressure around objectives. Communicate to your team when to start an objective while your split pusher creates pressure in a side lane.
  • Applying Pressure: If the enemy team groups to contest an objective, make sure other lanes are pushing to force them to make tough decisions (do they contest Baron or defend their base?).

7. Mid and Late Game Objectives:

  • Elder Dragon & Baron Buffs: Once Elder Dragon or Baron are secured, group with your team to push as a unit, avoiding unnecessary risks like splitting off. Protect the buff carriers and apply pressure to towers and inhibitors with the superior power of these buffs.
  • End Game Pushes: After securing objectives, ensure that the team works together to push lanes and siege enemy base. Don’t overextend or allow picks by the enemy when you’re in a winning position.
